In gratitude for this life and as a feast for your heart I wanted to share a song with you today, In These Arms, A Song For All Beings by Canadian born artist Jennifer Berezan, as it touches me on many levels.

The song invokes memories of my dear departed friend Sam who first introduced me to Berezan’s music. Sam was a shining example of what it is to Live your Dharma. Her indomitable spirit, wisdom and beauty were a gift to all who met her.
Whilst the essence of this track opens my heart to the sorrows of this world, it also shines a light on the immense joy, available to us all, as we awaken to the path of freedom and beauty in alignment with our sacred planet Earth and all of life.
“I cannot turn my eyes, I cannot count the cost
Of all that has been broken, all that has been lost
I cannot understand, the suffering that life brings
War and hate and hunger
And a million other things
When I’ve done all that I can
And I try to do my part
Let sorrow be a doorway
Into an open heart
And the light on the hills is full of mercy
The wind in the trees it comes to save me
This silence it will never desert me
I long to hold the whole world in these arms
May all beings be happy
May all beings be safe
May all beings everywhere be free.”
My thanks to Jennifer Berezan for all that she gifts to this world.
What a powerful statement and such beautiful music, opens my heart and soul. X
